Nine Star Ki Astrology II
Nine Star Ki Astrology Continued.....
Here’s an easier way to find your Principle Number
Gender
is unimportant. It’s done the same way for both sexes.
I know in the Kua System the mathematics are done differently for
males and females. The idea
is that the male (yang) moves forward and the female (yin) moves
backward. In the Japanese
system of 9 Star Ki, the concept is that human beings contain both yin
and yang and that, us, as human beings, are moving forward all the time. Does
this mean everyone born between the lunar year of 1952 is a 3?
Yes. And, the next
time you go to your High School re-union just check out the
“similarities” in your former schoolmates’ lives.
However, there are two other things to consider that will add to
our uniqueness. The
Principle Number (Heaven) represents our Spirit, our karma.
It’s our personality. The
second, is the Character Number (Earth), which represents us physically.
Or, that we genetically inherit from our Mother. The
third, is the Energetic Number (Man), which represents our behavior. To
find our Character Number, look at the chart below.
On the top portion you will see the heading “Principle
Number”. Find your
Principle Number, then look over to the left where you see solar month.
Find the month you’re born in.
Next, slide your finger across until you’re in the column where
your Principle Number heads. That
will be your Character Number. Figure

To find your Energetic Number is a bit tricky. So, pay attention. Go back to the original Lo-shu Magic Square. Now, place your Character Number in the center. What is it? A five? A three? Place that Lo-shu with your central number over the Lo-shu Magic Square. Where your Principle Number falls, the number underneath is your Energetic Number. For
example: Birth date July 4th 1970. |

When you place it over the Lo-shu Magic Square you will see that the Principle Number falls on top of the 7. That 7 is your Energetic Number. A person with this birth date, is 3-1-7. Now,
what do all these numbers mean? Well, lets take a look at ourselves- the
good and the bad. One: Kan, water. There are two types of water chi: Still and moving. Still waters run deep. This type is shy, secretive. Moods run from one extreme to the next. Knows a little about a lot. Ones are complainers and they don’t like to follow chain of command. They have trouble finishing things. Moving waters like to stir things up. business people; other careers would include fashion designer; fashion models;
and polit Once
you have found your own Principle, Character and Energetic numbers, you can do
your lovers, friends and family. If you understand the relationship
between the Five Elements, you can see how your number gets along with others.
If you’re unfamiliar with the Five Elements, then take a peek on my page
“History of Feng Shui” and review the destructive and creative cycles. A
3 person is wood and will energize a 9, who is fire (wood feeds fire). A 6, who
is metal, will be in conflict with a 3 or a 4, since metal chops down wood. A 3
with a 3 is a very energetic couple that will be making love all the time. In
relationships, it’s a good idea to have at least one number that is the same. Let's
put all three Personality numbers together and see what we get. I'll do 9
Star Ki on two celebrities and see how close I get to their public persona. Russell
Crowe: April 7th 1964
9-3-2 He is proud, but conservative.
For him, anything less than perfection is unsatisfactory. He appears quiet and
gentle, but underneath he is controlled by intense sensitivity and passion.
Once his mind is set on something, this type will go after it with such
intensity that others will be amazed. May appear indecisive, but he’s
just being overly cautious. When faced with a serious problem, may become stormy
and forceful. Unfortunately, this kind of sudden reaction could interfere with
relationships. May have had a strong mother who was very influential in molding
his views on male-female roles. Anyone with these number combinations wants
perfection & total satisfaction in their love life. Because of his pride,
this type will have trouble forming harmonious relationships with others.
They also aim for success, fame & power. But, remember to stay
realistic; watch out for that stormy nature; respect those around you & keep
that pride in order. Madonna:
August 16th 1958
6-8-3 We
all know her as bigger than life, but did you know that she is quite
magnanimous? This number combination makes them very stylish, which gives
them strong social appeal. She’s discriminative in her choice of friends
& associates. If she likes you, she’ll be very considerate, if she
doesn’t--she’ll avoid you completely. This type expends a lot of energy to
achieve their goals. But, their rashness can cause them to loose balance
& judgment. Because she wants so many things she can find it hard to
zero in on just one activity at a time. She may overpower others, often to
the point of alienating them, especially other women. This type must learn not
to rush into things where impatience could ruin all. They also have good luck in
money matters & fame. Remember, stay considerate of others & let that
magnanimous nature work for you. We can take 9 Star Ki one step further and use it as a divination tool. By watching the movement of your Principle Number throughout the lo-shu we can determine our yearly trends. For example, this year, 9, is in the tai chi (center) position. So, if your Principle Number is 9, not only will everything you buy this year will be or have a 9 in it, but, you can expect to be in the center of things, good & bad. Next year, 2001, the 9 will move into the chyan position, which will bring many benefactors. For all you 9’s out there, trends should stay positive for you until the year 2005. Expect that year to be ‘not so hot’. The year 2006, you’ll pause to replenish yourself and 2007, will start you off on a new beginning. Links
